Culla is an enchanting place whose streets and natural sites are perfectly preserved. Its old town, declared as a Property of Cultural Interest, offers an amazing walk around historical buildings and alleys full of tradition.

As a result of its historical past, there are very interesting monuments such as the Porta Nova arch, reconstructed in the 17th century; the ruins of the ancient Arabian castle, with the ruins of its walls and towers from the 13th century or the Parochial Church of El Salvador, dating from the 17th century. Moreover, there are other fascinating buildings which can be visited like the Granary of the Commander, from the 13th and 14th centuries, known as la Presó, or the Old Hospital, from the 17th century.

Turismo Rural en Castellón - Culla



A few kilometers away from the town, between the regions of Culla and La Torre d’En Besora, the Parc Miner del Maestrat is situated. These are old iron mines whose galleries can be visited in order to know how the work of miners was.

The natural site of San Cristobal is the place where Astromaestrat, the astronomical observatory of Culla, is located. It offers activities with touristic purposes which are addressed to all types of public.
