Sabors de l'Alt Maestrat

The Gastrononic Days Sabors de l'Alt Maestrat take place every Saturday and Sunday in September and October. Castelló Ruta de Sabor,together with the bars and restaurants of Ares del Maestrat, Benassal, Catí and Culla promote the traditional cuisine of the region at very affordable prices. The restaurants which participate in this event are able to transport the guest to the heart of the region, transmitting new feelings and identifying in each product the know-how of its people. Flavours of lamb, cold meat, cheese, rabbit with snails, almonds, turrón, hazelnuts, Requesón with honey and truffle. Products of excellent quality and variety which have defined the diet of the inhabitants of this region during centuries and that now take on another character as authentic as its essence and as delicate as the way in which our experienced cook them.
