Paraje Natural Municipal ‘La Mola d’Ares’

On the initiative of the Ares town councilthe summit of la Mola d'Ares was declared a Municipal Natural Site by the Consell de la Generalitat Valenciana on the 3rd March 2006, due to its ecological, landscape, scientific and recreational values. This rocky mass is located at an altitude of 1,321 metres. From here, visitors can enjoy exceptional views of the region. It is a high plateau generated by differential erosion processes, with uneven cliffs. Its heritage value is formed by the archaeological site Coll Monter and two ethnological properties, Nevera dels Regatxols and the Font dels Regatxols.
